Menzgold Customers are Thieves, They Refused to Pay Tax on 120% a Year, Arrest Them - A Plus!!!

Ghanaian Hiplife artiste Kwame Asare Obeng known popularly as A-Plus has said customers of Menzgold Ghana Limited who received interest but failed to pay tax should be arrested for tax evasion.

On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, EOCO, in a statement signed by Head of Public Affairs at EOCO, Jacqueline Avotri, revealed it has secured a court order to go after all properties belonging to Nana Appiah Mensah.

A-Plus addressing the issue in a Facebook post on Tuesday stated that customers should have paid tax on percentages they made on their investments.

“If Menzgold customers are asking the government to pay their investments then government must also arrest all Menzgold costumer’s (sic) who received interest but failed to pay tax on their income for tax evasion. Wicked and greedy citizens. Even those who receive 12% or less a year pay tax.

“You were taking 120% a year but refused to pay tax. Now you say what? The government should use the tax we pay on 12% a year to pay you who refused to pay tax on 120% a year? The thing you people are saying noh does it make sense to you?” A-Plus on Facebook.

He believes “Menzgold must present a total list of all those who received interest to the Ghana Revenue Authority to be arrested and prosecuted. Nam1 “thief you.” You too you “thief government.” Thief man thief man…. if you don’t understand go and invest in Womenzsilver."

Even though these efforts have been put in place to pay off frustrated customers who invested at Menzgold, the Hiplife musician still insists that customers face charges because they also faulted in the Menzgold saga.
