The Attitude Of Winner-Takes-All Isn't Favourable - Awal Fires MTN Hitmaker Organizers!!!

Second runner up of Talented Kidz season one, Awal Mohammed has stated that he didn't get a good price when he came second in the MTN hitmaker season seven competition and for that matter has been his headache.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak hit on Hitz FM, he said that anyone who had the chance to be a part of the four finalists really worked hard to be there so the cash price of Ghc100,000 shouldn't be for only the winner amongst the four because they also have something to impact into the society.
''In my opinion, the strategy of winner-takes-all isn't good'' he stated.

For a second position, there should be some form of cash awarded or be helped with to shoot one music video to kickstart the career. Even though he got some packages from the sponsors, it wasn't enough for him. He mentioned an artist like Kuami Eugene who he thinks if Richie had not signed, his talent would have been locked up in a room.
''I would have said this even if I had won the competition'', he included.

The young rapper added that he has not been signed under record label yet but for now he has a team that is helping him push this whole brand. "My team and I are really working hard recording more songs".

Awal Mohammed has his new track 'Yenda' out there already and has had a lot of people jamming to it already.
