Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale Granted Bail At A Cost Of GHc50,000 After Court Appearance Today.



The Accra Magistrate Court presided by Isaac Addo has granted a bail for Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale at a cost of GHc50,000 for each after their court appearance today.
The two artiste have pleaded not guilty to charges they are facing over their commotion that marred the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night.
Shatta Wale is facing a charge of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace while Stonebwoy has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission.
Lawyers Jerry Avenyor and Selali Wonya represented Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy respectively.
The two artiste were put before court in Accra today, Wednesday and the case has been adjourned to June 20, 2019.
However, the two were cautioned to be of good behaviour while the case and investigation is ongoing.
The commotion at the VGMA night last Saturday begin when Stonebwoy was announce the winner of the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year, Shatta Wale was seen going to the stage with his term.
The scuffle on the stage last Saturday at VGMA@20 has been a subject of many conversations in the country as it has been widely reported in local and international media.
